ASHLAND - A psychologist will speak to parents at the Ashland Public Library Thursday night.

Jane Greenstein has been working in schools for more than 20 years, according to a flyer sent to parents from at least three of Ashland's public schools Wednesday. She'll talk about parenting through the different stages of childhood, and when children develop skills like goal-setting, perspective-taking, abstract reasoning, and impulse control, among other discussion topics.

"Developmental Approach to Parenting" will be interactive, according to the flyer, and run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The library is located at 66 Front St.
