MILLERSBURG — Marcia Kay Miller, 66, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, after a lifetime with cystic fibrosis, surrounded by her family as she entered heaven and her eternal rest.
Marcia was a teacher with fond memories of the students she taught at East Holmes Schools. Even when doctors discouraged it, she continued to work because she loved her students.
Marcia and Warren, who survives, were married June 26, 1976, and raised two children, Jeremy (Stephanie) and Tiffany (Scott Leach) in a house filled with her sense of humor. She loved to spoil grandsons, Kayden and Perrin, as they grew.
Meeting her in heaven will be two sisters, Sheila and Janelle, and her mother, Naomi Yoder. Her father, Carl Yoder (Sue), survives along with her sister, Mary Beth (late Randy) Stuckey and brother Kevin (Judy) Yoder, along with beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends and family may visit Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Berlin Mennonite Church, 4718 U.S. Route 62, Berlin. Memorial services will be held at the church on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which is continuously working to combat this disease.
