Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has fined operator Vectone Mobile (formerly Mundio Mobile). The operator violated the obligation to provide the regulator, within the set deadline (30 June 2015), information regarding the turnover obtained in the year 2014 which was eligible for the calculation of the extraordinary contribution to the compensation fund for the universal service. As a result, Anacom launched a infringement procedure, which ended with Vectone Mobile paying the voluntary fine of EUR 2,000.
