WEDNESDAY...
* EVENT...Temperatures will plummet into the single digits to
lower teens tonight resulting in hard freeze conditions area
wide.
* TIMING...Temperatures are already well below freezing and will
continue to plummet through the overnight and early morning
hours before gradually warming after sunrise. Daytime
temperatures will likely remain near or below freezing
Wednesday.
* IMPACT...Take precautions to cover exposed pipes and bring
pets indoors as well as protect sensitive outdoor plants.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Hard Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are either
imminent or occurring. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills are expected. The cold wind chills
will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed
skin. Expect wind chills to range from 15 above zero to 0.
* WHERE...All of South Central and Southwest Arkansas, North
Central and Northwest Louisiana, Southeast Oklahoma, and all of
East Texas.
* WHEN...Now through 10 AM CST Wednesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
