The Masters commences on Sunday 14 January and runs for one week.

The final will be head on Sunday 21 January.

HOW CAN I WATCH?

You'll be able to catch coverage from this year's tournament through the BBC.

Broadcasting will come via BBC Two, the BBC Red Button, Connected TV, the BBC Sport website and the mobile app.

WHO IS PLAYING?

The Masters is invitational event and is only open to the top 16 players on the circuit.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is the defending champion and number one seed. 

The remaining spots are allocated to players based on the world rankings after the 2017 UK Championship.

Stuart Bingham, ranked 12, is currently suspended for betting breaches so his place falls to the player ranked 17th - Liang Wenbo.

Neil Robertson is another noticeable absentee, having slipped out of the world's top 16 and missing his first Masters event since 2006.
