It is the morning after the night before, and last night saw the news that Mike Ashley has walked away from takeover talks with PCP Capital Partners.
Ashley’s camp claim talks with Amanda Staveley were a ‘complete waste of time’ and they claim a bid was never on the table.
However, Staveley’s camp are adamant they submitted a bid in November.
