Online Application for UP Police Recruitment 2018 for 41520 Constable Posts will be done through the official portal of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB), which is uppbpb.gov.in from 22 January 2018.
Recruitment process of 41,520 constable posts in UP will begin from 22 January 2018. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) will hire such huge number of posts in UP Police.
According to the official notice released, UPPBPB will employ 23, 520 Civil Police and 18,000 Arms Constables out of 41, 520 posts. The segregation as per reservation is given below.
The advertisement to fill up Constable Posts will be available till 22 February 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for the job position need to pay Rs 400/- as the application fee. The last date to pay the application fee is till 23 February 2018. The application process is made online through the official site of UPPBPB at uppbpb.gov.in and prpb.gov.in.

3. Educational Qualification Needed to Apply for Constable Posts
Candidates who will apply for the job position will have to be Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
4. Essential Age Limit
The age limit is set between 18 to 22 years for male candidates and 18 to 25 years for female candidates.
5. Physical Examination for Male & Female Candidates
Coming over to physical examination, the appearing candidates will have to run for 4.8 km in 25 minutes for men and 2.4 km in 14 minutes for women.
6. New Rule to Select Candidates
The selection procedure to hire constables has been changed since last year by the Government of UP. As per a meeting conducted by CM of UP along with his other member in mid 2017, the Police recruitment process witnessed certain changes. The physical test marks will not have any bearing on the final results in police constable recruitment process. The police constables recruitment will be done on the basis of written examination. On the basis of the written examination, the merit list of appeared candidates will be prepared. As per the reports then, the physical test was said to be conducted later.
7. Get to Know about the Exam Pattern
Returning to the exam pattern to recruit Constables, a written examination of 300 marks will be conducted. Each candidate will have to appear for written test where the provision of negative marking is applicable. Once the candidate clears the written test, he or she can go forward with the next step.
