VCSU to host solo symposium

Valley City State University Music Department will host the 6th Annual Solo Song Symposium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, with a 3 p.m. Showcase Recital. Led by professor Robin Allebach and Dr. Christopher Redfearn, the day of masterclasses and workshops for selected high school singers will feature the opportunity to perform in a recital setting with coachings in vocal technique, diction, stage etiquette and performance practices, culminating in a showcase recital.
