Very early in her career Rani got the chance of working with the three Khans of Bollywood. She is one among those few Bollywood heroines who was never type-casted and who always kept exploring her skills and different genres.
In an old interview Rani mentioned that "I keep teasing Aamir even today that 'remember you were shooting for this film called Love Love Love with Juhi' and I went up to him... he was in the middle of a shot. I was very excited that I am going to take Aamir Khan's autograph."
In a short time, Rani had arrived. She became the reigning queen of Bollywood and set her foot strong as an exemplary actress and a hit mainstream heroine.

"And I had written Dearest Aamir in my autograph book, because 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' had just released and he was every young girls' dream. I went up to him, I was very shy and I bunked school. And he was very rude to me! He just took my book and signed and gave it to me. So my heart broke."
"And then when I shot my film with him 'Ghulam,' we were shooting for 'Aati Kya Khandala' and told him, 'Aamir you remember once you've given autograph to this small little girl?' he said, 'When?' I said 'during Love Love Love, it was me.' He said 'You're lying Rani, I am never rude, I am never rude to kids or I am never rude to people who come for an autograph.' I said, 'you were rude to me,'" she laughs.
