Ubisoft has announced the release dates for Assassin's Creed Origins' upcoming DLC packs, including The Hidden Ones, Discovery Tour, and The Curse of the Pharoahs.

Over the next few months, players will gain access to all of the season pass content for Ubisoft's open-world titan.

The Hidden Ones will launch on January 23, and will be a story-driven expansion set four years after the events of Origins as the Brotherhood wars against Roman forces occupying the Sinai, a brand new region. The expansion will also increase the level cap to 45 and introduce new weapons and mounts, new levels for crafted gear, and a new outfit for Bayek. The Hidden Ones will be available for all season pass holders, or can be purchased separately for $10 USD.

The new educational and combat-free mode, Discovery Tour, is coming on February 20 as a free update to Origins owners on Uplay and Steam for Windows PC. It will also be available as a separate purchase, costing $20 USD for players and educators who prefer not to purchase the full game. Discovery Tour will allow players to explore ancient Egypt and learn about the culture, traditions, and lives of its people in a living museum.

The Curse of the Pharoahs DLC will be available for $20 USD on March 6, and is included in the season pass. In it, players will journey to Thebes to investigate an ancient curse that is reanimating the dead. Bayek will have to contend with risen pharoahs, beasts, and more. The expansion increases the level cap to 55 and includes new outfits, gear, and weapons, all themed on Egyptian myth.

Assassin's Creed Origins scored a spot on IGN's list of the best-reviewed games of 2017. The previous update gave the open-world game enemy scaling and a Horde mode.
