The Reno Choral Society will begin rehearsals for its 80th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” on Monday, Jan. 22, in Room 145 at Hutchinson Community College’s Stringer Fine Arts Center.

Practices are from 7 to 9 p.m. each Monday until the performance at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18, in Stringer Fine Arts Center, the press release said.

Reno Choral Society is a non-auditioned choral group and all interested singers are invited to join. Annual dues of $20 - $30 for a two-member household – may be paid at the first rehearsal. Students are free.

“Messiah” scores are available to purchase at practice. They cost $11 each. Dress rehearsal will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17.
