Vispi is one of the early investors in Whatfix and has served on the Board since 2015. He will be based out of Whatfix’s office in the Bay Area in California. The company intends to aggressively scale up the team in the US office. Vispi’s immediate task is to build a team of go-to-market roles including sales, account management and partnerships.

Vispi brings a wealth of experience having worked with several companies in the US and India helping them build scalable teams, acquire marquee customers and partners and navigate them through eventual public market listings or IPOs. Some of the other investments Vispi has been involved with include MakeMyTrip.com (IPO) and CarWale (acquired) in India and Software companies in the US including Parature (Microsoft), Greenplum (EMC) and Revionics. Vispi earned his MBA from Yale University, where he later also served on the School’s Advisory Board.

“It is thrilling to have Vispi join Whatfix to lead the expansion of our footprint in the United States. He has a very rich experience and deep expertise from which Whatfix has gained immensely over the last few years,” Khadim Batti, CEO and Cofounder, Whatfix, said.

“And now that Vispi is taking up a full time position with Whatfix, we expect that his contributions will further expand our strong presence in the North American market. At the same time, choosing to work as part of our executive team is also a testimony to the immense potential and growth story that Whatfix has.”

As SVP of Sales and Partnerships in North America, Vispi will lead the company’s go-to-market presence in the US and will have oversight of the strategic direction and operations of the company within the United States.

“I have watched Whatfix grow from the founding team and a handful of customers to near 100 employees and over 250 enterprise customers. Market demand is exploding and partners are scrambling to have their consultants trained on our product,” Vispi said.

“I am excited to build out the team in the US and serve our prospects and customers in the North American market.”
