Aubameyang to Arsenal: Dortmund star hands in transfer request to push through move
ARSENAL have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the Borussia Dortmund star has reportedly handed in a transfer request.
With Alexis Sanchez set to leave the club at some point this week, Arsenal are planning to bring in a replacement swiftly.
Bordeaux’s star Malcom has been touted as a potential target while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to be included in a deal for Sanchez to join United.
But the Gunners’ main focus is to clinch a deal to bring Aubameyang to the Premier League.
The Gabon international was left out Dortmund’s squad for the game against Wolfsburg at the weekend due to disciplinary problems.
Dortmund chiefs have also hinted the striker has played his last game for the club.

And German publication Bild claim Aubameyang has put in a transfer request to push through a move away from the Bundesliga outfit.
Arsenal’s new recruitment chief Sven Mislintat is reportedly attempting to broker a deal for Aubameyang having worked with him at Dortmund.
Both Dortmund and Arsenal are someway apart from their valuation with the Premier League club willing to pay £53million while the former want closer to £60m.
