Watch bizarre moment couple who 'chained up 13 children' renew vows at Elvis chapel

THE grandmother of 13 children allegedly found chained up and starving has defended their parents who have been charged with torture.

David and Louise Turpin, 57 and 49, have both been arrested and charged after cops uncovered their children shackled in their home in Perris, California.

And video has now emerged of the couple renewing their wedding vows at an Elvis chapel in Las Vegas back in 2015.

Police confirmed more details about the shocking case this evening – confirming all 13 captives are the Turpin’s biological children.

Detectives also confirmed the children were not sexually abused during their alleged captivity.

Neighbours in Perris have also described their horror to the revelations and encounters with the reclusive family.

Perris mayor Michael Vargas said he cannot "begin to image the pain and suffering" the children endured.
