Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho discusses Alexis Sanchez transfer after Stoke win

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho is unaware of any other side's interest in Alexis Sanchez.

The Red Devils closed the gap behind Manchester City to 12 points with a comfortable 3-0 win over Stoke this evening.

Goals from Antonio Valencia, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku sealed all three points for the home side.

There may be a new goalscoring hero at Old Trafford in the coming weeks, as Sanchez nears his move to the club.

However, reports tonight suggest Chelsea have joined the hunt for the Arsenal wantaway.

But after the game, Mourinho insisted he wasn't sure about other clubs' interest.

"I have no idea," he said.

"Probably there are other clubs also interested.

"No news on Alexis Sanchez, he is an Arsenal player, if he stays it's great for Arsenal, if he comes to us, great for us, if he goes to another club, great for them."

And Mourinho insists he is not getting his hopes up after United closed the gap on their rivals.

"Stoke bought players to play football, they were not afraid to play and they created us problems in the first half," he continued.

"I didn't watch Liverpool beat Manchester City, it doesn't change anything.
