As the temperature continues to drop in Central Texas, the wintry mix of precipitation is expected to last through Tuesday afternoon.
The freezing rain is moving across San Antonio and will gradually end between noon and 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The impact is being felt on roads and highways. The Texas Department of Transportation has received reports of ice at I-37 and I-10, Loop 1604 and I-10 and westbound 410 near West Avenue.
"Crews are on their way to reach location to re-treat," the San Antonio bureau tweeted Wednesday morning around 7:15 a.m.
Meteorologists say patches of sleet and light snow also remain a possibility throughout the region.

While the freezing rain will taper off, temperatures won't get any warmer. Forecasters predict the temperatures won't go above 30 degrees today.
Dry and cold conditions are expected tonight, and temperatures are expected to creep above freezing levels by Wednesday.
