Potential state budget cuts, rising tuition costs and her vision for the future will be key topics discussed as Iowa State president Wendy Wintersteen meets with the Des Moines Register editorial board.
Wintersteen was named the 16th president in October, and is the first female president at Iowa State.
Wintersteen previously led ISU's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences since 2006. Before that, she had worked in a variety of positions at the university including as an entomology professor and Agriculture and Natural Resources extension director.
