Arizona State quarterback Brady White has transferred with Memphis, according to a report by 247 sports.

White was one of five scholarship QBs on ASU's roster. He redshirted in 2015 and briefly played in 2016 before injuring his foot and missing most of the season. He got hurt in his only start, a 23-20 ASU win over UCLA.

The key for Memphis is that White has already earned his degree so he goes to the Tigers as a graduate transfer and will likely have two years of eligibility left.

Memphis, whose head coach is former ASU offensive coordinator Mike Norvell, are looking to replace outgoing QB Riley Ferguson, who passed for 7,955, 70 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in two seasons as the starter.

Memphis has gone 10-3 and 8-5 the last two seasons.

The Tigers have six assistant coaches who worked under Todd Graham at ASU.
