Theodore A. 'Ted' Krzemienski Beaver Falls Theodore A. "Ted" Krzemienski, 78, of Beaver Falls, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born December 27, 1939, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late John S. and Genevieve Mujwit Krzemienski. He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Marilyn Wolf Krzemienski. Ted attended the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and primary school. He served for many years on several committees, was an usher, choir member and a member of the Holy Name Society. He loved his Polish heritage, especially Polish music to which he danced the polka. He voluntarily joined the U.S. Army in April 1958, trained at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and went on to serve for 20 months in Nancy, France, where he played baseball and basketball for the post team. He was the relief pitcher in the win of the European championship game, a memory of which he was very fond. Upon his return from Europe and discharge from the Army, Ted attended the Youngstown University and Slippery Rock, majoring in Recreation and Business. His work life involved playground supervision at Harmony Dwellings, factory work at Armstrong Cork, Babcock & Wilcox and long-term employment with the County of Beaver, retiring as the supervisor of Brush Creek Park. Ted's passion was youth baseball for the kids in Beaver Falls. In fact, he was on the very first little league team in the city, established in 1951. He formed a farm league program for younger boys and filled six teams, readying them for competitive little league ball. He coached the "Enelow Shoes" team for 43 years. He gave a tremendous amount of his time and heart to his community. Ted's 28 years as a city councilman makes his tenure the longest in Beaver Falls history, 25-year member of the Recreation Board, a 32-year member of the Community Services Program of Beaver County Advisory Board serving many of those years as president. He worked with the assisted living program for people with disabilities and was a member of the volunteer fire department. Ted had many loyal friends and wanted to acknowledge them including Sam and Eli Rebich, Rich Chiodo, Dick Snodgrass, Bob Middleman, Dan Cellini, Bill Borghi, Bob "PeeWee" Robinson, Frank Braykovich, Bruno Gratteri, Bob Lucci, Frank Riggio, Bill Venezie, John Antoline and a special friend Joan Marquis. He leaves behind daughters, Cindy Pasquale and Candy (Steven) Bomberger; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Whitson, Heather (Thomas) Neely, Jennalynn, Megan and Ryan Kozora, Sebrina (Ralph) Enriquez, and Jaylyn Bomberger; great-grandchildren, Reese, Tanner and Blake Neely, Gabriela and Xavier Enriquez, and Nora Whitson; his siblings, Val "Sis" Krzemienski, Patricia Karwoski, Stanley "Bucky" Krzemienski, Alicia "Toni" Krzemienski of Beaver Falls, Carol (Bill) Onesta of California, Eleanor Krzemienski of Arlington, Va., and Dolores and Dorothy Krzemienski of Vanport; sister-in-law, Merry Krzemienski; loving aunts, Mary Reeder and JoAnne Mujwit, and numerous nieces and nephews. At Ted's request, there will be no public viewing. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the convenience of the family. His arrangements were entrusted to William T. "Bill" Spratt, SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Seventh Ave., BEAVER FALLS.
