World of Wellness event helping residents take control of their health

The Alliance of Coalitions for Health Communities is hosting an event for people that want to take control of their mental and physical health.

The World of Wellness event will be open to adults and teens. Participants will engage with wellness experts and receive helpful tips on how to to manage stress, eat better and optimize their wellness potential.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. J. Bruce Hillenberg, director of psychology and pain medicine for the Beaumont Health System. He will present alternative and natural therapies for pain management.

Wellness experts in the areas of pain management, restorative sleep, stress relief, food as medicine, and other proven beneficial modalities of self-care will be on-hand to answer any and all questions.

• A $5 cash donation will be collected at the door
