Lake City had a strong showing on Saturday, placing fourth in the 14-team Plainview-Elgin-Millville Invitational. The Tigers totaled 124 points, falling behind the host Bulldogs (199), Caledonia-Houston (164) and Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson (132).
Tanner Frank won a 2-1 decision over PEM's Cael Marx for the 126-pound title, while Derek Meincke took third at 152 with an 8-5 win over Jon Frazier of Wabasha-Kellogg.
Lake City will travel to Byron for a triangular with Kasson-Mantorville on Tuesday.
