WOOSTER — Elizabeth Marie Short, 75, of Wooster, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at her home.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, where services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 14, 1942, in Arnoldsburg, W.Va., to George and Betty (Tucker) Harris, and married Russell Short on Feb. 18, 1995. He survives.
She retired from Ida Sue School, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling to Florida.
Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her husband of 22 years; children, Ricky Barlow of Millersburg, Jerry Lee (Alicia) Weese of Michigan, Tina Marie Shively of Michigan, Teresa Ann Prince of Columbus, Steven Howard (Kimberly) Weese of Orrville, Twila Wehling of Akron, and Crystal Gail Weese of Wooster; grandchildren, Nicole Marie, Ricky Jr., Jerry Lee, Paige and Thomas Weese, Alicia Marie (Jarred) Crecraft, Steven Jr., Tabatha Dawn, Paul David and Cassandra Elizabeth Weese, Forest Greenwald and Katie Bug Elizabeth Weese-Franks; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Crecraft.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Neil and Johnny Ray; brothers, George Lee, Frank, Robert, Daniel and Clark Harris; sisters, Virginia Vance and Stacil Fox; and best friend Jeremiah Weese.
