BOSTON (WHDH) - Firefighters are battling a four-alarm blaze Tuesday morning that broke out at a store in Boston’s Codman Square.
The fire broke out around 10 a.m. at Codman Square Market on Washington Street in the city’s Dorchester section. Heavy smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the front of the building.
Fire officials say they are concerned that the fire may spread to a billboard that sits on the building’s rooftop.
Firefighters are conducting an exterior operation. The scene remains active at this time. Several ladder trucks are working to extinguish the fire.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is not clear.
