Djibouti national dies at Biswa Ijtema

GAZIPUR: An elderly citizen of Djibouti-an African country, who took part in the first phase of Biswa Ijtema-the second largest Muslim congregation after Hajj, died in the foreign camp on early Tuesday (January 16).

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman Jubba, 70. Djibouti is a country located in the Horn of Africa.

Senior engineer of Biswa Ijtema Montaj Uddin told Banglanews that Abdur Rahman Jubba attended the first phase of the congregation and waiting to participate in the second phase.

It is being suspected that he died in the morning from cardiac arrest. He was buried in the graveyard of Biswa Ijtema at 10 am after namaz-e-janaza, he added.
