A 99-year-old Minnesota Vikings fan attended her first NFL playoff game Sunday - and left with two Super Bowl tickets.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell presented Millie Wall with the tickets for the big game on Feb 4. at the Vikings' home field, U.S. Bank Stadium, near the end of Minnesota’s thrilling 29-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

The Vikings gave Wall tickets for Sunday’s divisional round game and she attended the contest with her granddaughter, Ashley. The Vikings' gesture was to help Wall celebrate her upcoming 100th birthday in July. Wall didn't hold back, enjoying a screwdriver with her granddaughter and cheering as she watched the Vikings win on the final play.

Wall told WCCO-CBS in Minnesota she'd been a fan for 54 years and would throw a foam brick at her TV over the years to take out her frustrations over the team's performance.

“There were years I got up all the time so I thought well this is dumb. So now I put a string on (the brick) so I can retrieve it,” she said.

A victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at this Sunday’s NFC title game would mean she’d be able to cheer the Vikings in person as they seek their first Super Bowl title.

The cheapest seat for the Super Bowl currently on StubHub and other secondary ticket market websites is more than $4,000. That price is expected to climb if the Vikings secure a berth in the Super Bowl.
