“Winter Cardinal” will be the first painting in the 2018 Hancock Park District seasonal painting series.
The program will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Brugeman Lodge at Riverbend Recreation Area.
Awakening Minds Art staff will provide step-by-step instructions on how to paint a winter water scene on canvas. All supplies and an 11-inch by 14-inch stretched canvas will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.
Participants must be at least 16 years old.
Registration is $30 per person and must be made by 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, online at www.HancockParks.com under the tab “Programs & Activities” or by calling the park district office, 419-425-7275, for registration and information.
