Crews work to clear roads of snow, ice

Road crews in the WLKY viewing area are out Tuesday clearing away the snow and ice.

The Harrison County EMA issued a travel ban Monday night. Officials said the only vehicles allowed on the roads are plows and emergency responders.

Salt truck drivers in Bullitt County are working 12 hours shifts. They're focusing on main roads and then hilly areas that get slick.

In the Metro, state officials are treating the interstates. They said road crews are working in two shifts.

Crews ask drivers to leave plenty of room between yourself and a snow plow.
