It seems like Honor’s older flagship smartphone, the Honor 8, will not be updated to Android Oreo. The announcement was made from the company's Indian Twitter account as a response to a user query, which asked why the Honor 8 was still stuck on EMUI 5. Honor didn’t reveal any specific reason as to why the update wasn’t being rolled out. Only that there are hardware and software limitations, which prevent the update from being rolled out.

Like all current generation Honor smartphones, the View 10 sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of 16MP + 20MP cameras.
