Norman E. Cline, 74, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at his residence.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Unitarian Church, 2508 Jackson St., in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Norman was born on Nov. 9, 1943, in Sioux City, to Clarence and Viola (Woehl) Cline. He attended Sioux City Schools and received his general education diploma while serving in the U.S. Navy.
Norman married Patricia Peterson on May 9, 1964, in Long Beach, Calif. Norman worked for Wilson Trailer, John Morrell, and Floyd Valley Packing Company. Norman and Pat also worked for the city of Sioux City, working bid jobs.
He was an avid reader, and also enjoyed gambling and fishing. Most importantly, Norman loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Viola Cline; wife, Pat Cline; daughter, Mindy Cline; brothers, Melvin (Dorothy) Cline, David (Lisa) Cline, Jim (Judy) Cline, and Donald (Julie) Cline; sisters, JoAnn Henry and Janice (Dan) Purk; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Norman was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; sons, Mark and Matthew Cline; and sister, Judy Durbin.
