Most accomplished school-age gymnasts can do a front flip. But until Lee O’Donnell came along, no one had ever busted that particular move while driving a five-ton monster truck in competition. O’Donnell successfully completed the first-ever mid-air, four-wheel flippity-flop in his VP Racing Fuels Mad Scientist truck last March during the 2017 Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas.
The pioneering move, which he talked about in a Q&A on our premium site, ExpressNews.com, helped O’Donnell secure first place in the freestyle portion of the contest.
