Jose Mourinho wants Alexis Sanchez at Man Utd because of Chelsea days - Sky Sports pundit
ALEXIS SANCHEZ is the type of player Jose Mourinho had during his managerial days at Chelsea - that is why he now wants him at Manchester United.
That is the interesting view of Sky Sports pundit and ex-West Ham star Tony Gale.
Manchester United are the overwhelming favourites to sign Arsenal star Sanchez before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
Manchester City pulled out of a deal yesterday, whereas Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was unaware of any interest from his side in his press conference this afternoon.
Mourinho became United boss in the summer of 2016 and Gale believes he is finally putting his stamp on the team.

It’s the dynamic, he preferred those types of players when he was at Chelsea. He’s just trying to get that around to Manchester United now
And he reckons Sanchez is another piece of the jigsaw to make United similar to the Portuguese’s successful Chelsea sides.
“It’s the dynamic, he preferred those types of players when he was at Chelsea," Gale said.
“He’s just trying to get that around to Manchester United now.
“But it’s that pace that you do attack or do counter that’s so crucial.

“And, of course, he’s got that Barcelona-way in him that when he does lose the ball, he’s the first one to get back after it again.”
Alexis Sanchez has scored eight goals in 22 appearances for Arsenal this season.
The Chile international is out of contract in the summer.
