Ukhrul, January 15 2018: The 8th Tangkhul Naga Zingtun Longphang Sports cum Cultural festival kicked off yesterday at Ngainga village, Ukhrul with DIG, I K Muivah as one of the dignitaries.

Speaking on the week-long sports cum festival, he stressed on the topic "Responsibility".

DIG Muivah pointed out that responsibility is a higher concept than duty.

Citing examples, he stated that it is the duty of teachers to be present at schools and teach the students, however, a teacher's real responsibility is to make the students become well educated person in the society.

It is a duty for the Government employees to attend offices and work on files, make field visits, etc.

But the real responsibility for all Government employees are to play a role in bringing development.

Having a sense of responsibility beyond simply performing a duty is to stress on quality in all developmental works and not only for profit.

DIG Muivah encouraged the youths mainly the students to have focus and eagerness to learn and succeed in competitive exams as well.
