The 2018 Winter Olympics are almost upon us. This year's games are taking place in PyeongChang, South Korea and will feature 102 events in 15 sports.

The opening ceremony takes place on Friday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. local time. PyeongChang is 14 hours ahead of EST, so that's 6 a.m. on Friday on the East Coast and 3 a.m. Friday on the West Coast. The games actually begin on Thursday, Feb. 8, though, with curling and ski jumping competitions.

The games will continue every day until Sunday, Feb. 25. The closing ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. local time.

The day-to-day schedule is a lot to manage, so NBC -- the exclusive American broadcast home of the Olympics -- has set up a designated website, NBCOlympics.com, to help keep track of the streaming and broadcast times, as well as stream the games when it's time.

And keep an eye on this space for updates regarding broadcast schedules and programming disruptions. We're still about a month out, so final schedules with detailed TV listings are still TBD.
