LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Pick up the pace, Letters editor

I always thought through the years that Letters to the Editor submissions were designed to allow citizens to comment and have published in a timely manner comments on local/national issues recently surfaced in the paper. Apparently not. On Jan. 12 in the letters to the editor column I saw a response to a letter to the editor written Dec. 2. Seriously? Your give folks an opportunity to express their opinion, yet you wait 31 days to print a response.

Let me you know if you need help organizing chronological submissions and timely responses.
