Keeping the desi ethos alive, the celebration party of Kumkum Bhagya touching the milestone of a thousand episodes had a theme of red. The star cast and guests turned up in varied hues of red ranging from the bright tomato red to oxblood and burgundy. The only notable exception was producer Ekta Kapoor who donned a blue jumpsuit for the event. The lady took to the stage to thank everyone who made the show such a huge hit. Kumkum Bhagya saw its spin-off Kundali Bhagya in 2017 and the show is also a super duper hit on the BARC charts. Now, that is icing on the cake! The petite Sriti Jha opted for a red robe dress while Shikha Singh wore a maxi one. Yesha Rughani came in a burgundy outfit with yellow shoes. Krishna Mukherjee also looked nice in a red short dress with boots. Srishty Rode wore a leather skirt with a red top for the do while Jasmin Bhasin was in an oxblood gown. The show is about a mother and her two daughters Pragya and Bulbul. Actress Sriti Jha won many awards for her portrayal as Pragya on the show. Vin Rana who is the new Purab came with his wife, Indonesian model Nita Sofiani. Shabbir Ahluwalia came in with wife, Sriti Jha.
The show has been doing brilliantly on the BARC charts since the start. Kumkum Bhagya enjoys immense fan following even in countries like Ghana, Congo, Indonesia and other places. People just cannot get enough of Abhi and Pragya’s cute chemistry. On some occasions, it was panned for repetitive tracks but the situation has improved considerably.
