(MENAFN) The Saudi Police conducted a security operation in the governorate of Al-Taif in the eastern province, where they shot and killed a terrorist involved in attacking Saudi police patrols.

The terrorist, who goes by the name "Abdulla Mirza Al-Qallaf", was shot down by the state security squads in the village of Al-Awamiya near Al-Jabal farms.

Al-Qallaf was a fugitive wanted for his involvement in killing Abdulla Al-Qahtani, a policeman on-duty, two months ago, in his car at a red traffic light.
