Light, slippery snow greets Capital Region
ALBANY — Commuters will be dealing with a light covering of snow on their way to work Tuesday morning.
Approximately an inch of snow covered most of the area. The entire region is under a winter weather advisory, part of a larger system stretching from Maine to Texas.
More snow is likely on the way, according to the National Weather Service. The Albany area could see another inch or two by the end of the day with snowfall rates up to a half inch per hour.
Temperatures Tuesday should stay in the mid-20s, with a high of 28 degrees and a low of 21 degrees.
Overnight, the area will see another two to four inches of snow, which should continue into Wednesday morning.
