Swords attacks in Jaffna continue

Two persons were injured in 2 separate sword attacks in Manipay, Jaffna last night (Jan. 15).

In the first instance, a 49-year-old was attacked with swords by a group of 4 persons who had arrived by motorcycles nearby the Manipay, Aneikotte, Varagi Amman Kovil.

In the second instance, a 24-year-old youth was attacked in the Manipay area.

The assailants had arrived by motorcycles.

The victims who are now being treated at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, have failed to identify the assailants.
