What everybody did was to sell me – Sandya Ekneligoda

Sandya Ekneligoda told the media yesterday (15) that there was no woman except her who had been sold at political platform and elsewhere to the worst extent. She said she never criticized about her being used, as she believed her husband, Prageeth, should not have gone missing. She said that from the moment he went missing, what she wanted was to ensure justice on his behalf one day.

 

Many did not help me, but they sold me, Sandya alleged. Prageeth’s disappearance was just one incident for them, but that is my entire life, she said.

Pursuant to a request by the Army commander to support investigations into the disappearance of the journalist, she met him yesterday morning. At the meeting, she also handed him a letter detailing her requests. Thereafter she spoke to the media.
