January 31 2018: Total Lunar Eclipse
The last total lunar eclipse took place on September 28, 2015. The one to take place on January 31 this year is expected to last at least 77 minutes.
February 15: Partial Solar Eclipse
The three solar eclipses that occur this year are deep in the Southern Hemisphere. The first one would take place on February 15, 2018.
July 13: Partial Solar Eclipse
July 13, 2018, would witness a partial solar eclipse. It is also a Southern Hemisphere event and is visible from southeastern Australia and Antarctic Ocean.
July 27: Total Lunar Eclipse
The next total lunar eclipse would take place next on July 27, 2018. The eclipse would take place in Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and Europe.
August 11: Partial solar eclipse
The last eclipse of the year would take place on August 11, 2018. The partial solar eclipse occurs in Leo at the Moon's ascending node. This time the event is visible from the Northern Hemisphere and includes northeastern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Northern Europe, north and eastern Asia.
