Reward offered for K9 officer’s safe return
The disappearance of a Live Oak K9 officer has prompted an offer of $500 for the dog’s safe return.
Warrant, a brindle-colored Dutch Shepherd, was last seen early Sunday morning in Universal City, according to a news release from the police department. The dog is 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds.
The K9s of Valor Facebook page reported Warrant went missing near Parkview Drive near the Universal City Library. A search involving officers from several agencies was conducted in the area for most of Sunday, but Warrant was not located, the release said.
