The Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Utpal Kumar Singh undertook a meeting of the monitoring committee of Single Window System at state secretariat on Monday.
In the meeting, he said that the objective of the single window system is to promote industrialisation in the State. The CS said that to attract investment and make the system more effective, a process of sending SMS alerts on phones has been put into place.
The SMS would be delivered to the head of department concernedwithin three days and secretary within 14 days of submission of applications. He said a separate dash board for monitoring of single window system is also being made.
The CS was informed that a dashboard for State Industrial and Infrastructural Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIIDCUL) has been made where arrangements of separate monitoring at the level of state, district and department have been done.
The officials said that now the information about the number of Common Application Forms (CAF) from entrepreneurs received by the department would be readily available.
The CAF disposed off and their pending numbers would also be available. The officer responsible for delay in required action on the CAF would also be identified easily by the system.
The CS was informed that the investment proposals having capital up to `10 crore are cleared at district level while the proposals in excess of `10 crore are put before a state level committee.
In the meeting, the CS directed the officials to expedite the process of digitisation of land records. He said the process of land registry and mutation should be made online.
The CS said that for leasing the land or taking it on lease it is imperative that the land records are online.
He was informed that such arrangement is being made on the portal after which the process of linkage with revenue department, stamp registration and banks would be made.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Industry Manisha Panwar, Managing Director (MD) of SIIDCUL Sowjanya, Secretary Tourism Dilip Javalkar, Director of Skill Development Mission Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Additional Secretary of urban development Vinod Kumar Suman and others.
