A 12-year old minor identified as Nitesh Giri son of Pramod Giri of Tarmi area under the Chanderpura police station, went missing January 12 and was found dead three days later when his body was spotted by Chanderpura police here on Sunday night at 11pm.
Nitesh’s body was found in Dhori forest before he was ultimately pressed his neck to killed him by local youth Manish (18) .Nitesh was last seen the afternoon of January 12 and he had gone to Dhori forest area with his friend Manish and could not return and found dead, according to officer-in charge Dy SP trainee, Alok Ranjan of Chanderpura police station.
According to officer-in charge after finding the incident Manish was arrested in connection with Nitesh’s death the three days after his body was found, and reportedly confessed to the murder of Nitesh Giri and stated before police that he had asked his android phone for plying game but Nitesh refused for his cell phone .While he took this matter as a serious concern and further asked him to join for a walk towards Dhori forest area and after the isolated place Manish allegedly squeeze his neck and killed him on the spot, police sources
The body was lastly recovered after his statement from Dhori forest about 11pm on Sunday and transported to Chas for further post-mortem and culprit would be produced before court on Tuesday, said Officer-in charge.
