Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has appreciated the car running on solar and electricity designed by the students of DIT University.
These students Vartik Srivastava and Aarij Afridi met the CM at his residence on Monday and gave a demonstration of the car developed by them.
The duo also informed about the research work of the university in the field of renewable energy. The CM congratulated the students and assured all possible help to them.
Effusing praise on the presentation of the students the CM said that the State Government is promoting innovative efforts of the students of Uttarakhand.
He called upon the students to undertake research and work on new ideas.
The Govt is providing impetus to entrepreneurs under its start up policy and emphasis on ‘Start up India- stand up India’ is being done to promote entrepreneurs at grass root level, he explained. Rawat said that in today’s world the importance of innovations is increasing and by inculcating new technicalexperiments and business ideas big changes in the life of people can be brought about.
