Facing conference foes has agreed with the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team.
With a 73-66 win over Rider on Monday night at the TD Sports Center in Hamden, the Bobcats (13-5) improved to 7-0 in conference play and have won eight straight overall. Quinnipiac has won 17 straight against MAAC opponents dating back to last season.
Carli Fabbri scored a career-high 28 points to lead the charge against Rider (6-11, 3-3 MAAC), while Aryn McClure added a season-high 22 points.
After Rider cut the Bobcats’ lead to 58-57 in the fourth quarter, Fabbri and McClure scored all 10 points in a decisive 10-0 Bobcats run.
Jaiden Morris paced Rider with 18 points.
