BRAHMANBARIA: Police recovered the sack-packed body of a seven-year old child with hands and legs tied after 11 days of his disappearance at Ashuganj upazila in Brahmanbaria.
The body was recovered from bathroom’s roof of Monim Member of Koriala village under Ashuganj upazila at 4:00 am on Monday (January 15).
The deceased was identified as Md. Rifat, 7, son of Bahar Miah of the village.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ashuganj Police Station Badrul Alam Talukder told Banglanews that two persons- namely Sohag Miah, 22, of Barguna and Solaiman, 22, of Jhalokati-were detained in this connection.
The body was sent to the District Sadar Hospital for post mortem.
