Could there have been a plan to sabotage the ‘special parliamentary session’ which was convened to discuss the Bond Report?

The Parliamentary Security Division and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya have received a ‘secret report’ which says -there was.

According to the Speaker’s Office, there is a need to correct the misunderstandings that are being circulated in the society about the disappointing situation which occurred in Parliament.

The disappointing situation referred here is the altercation which broke out in Parliament on January 10.

Communique issued by the Speaker’s Office say “MP Dinesh Gunawardena continuously disrupted the parliamentary session following the Speaker’s announcement that the report will not be tabled that day”.
