I failed phone banking security and had my account locked because I got my age wrong. Couldn't get the whippersnapper on the other end to understand that once you get past 40 you try and forget your age.

Was in hospital on Saturday for surgery; anaesthetist asked my age (state secret), told him, response was '....you certainly don't look it'. Never met him before and will, hopefully, never see him again - for the right reasons - but.....I love that man!

I've never been bothered by age.
I'm 40 in 2 weeks though and for some reason it's causing me to question that my life hasn't turned out quite how I wanted (happily married in the open plan kitchen with the wife, watching the kids playing outside in the garden etc).
Single, never married and no kids. I'm happy though, just in a way I kind of wished wasn't the case.
So no, not old, but weirdly feeling it
