
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited bids for different rights The VIVO Indian Premier League.
The rights for which bids are invited include 'IPL Official Partner Rights', 'IPL Strategic Time Out Partner Rights' and 'IPL Umpire Partner Rights'.
According to a release from the board, no more than one third party will be granted rights in relation to each category. BCCI intends to appoint up to a maximum of six 'Official Partners' along with one Strategic Timeout Partner and one Umpire Partner respectively. Third parties may express interest in acquiring the rights in respect of more than one category but no single third party will be appointed as an official partner in respect of more than one product category.
The deadline for each EoI (Expression of Interest) must be delivered before 5 pm on 17 January 2018. The BCCI will negotiate with the EoI third parties till 31 January 2018.
