Security detail of MP Wijayadasa reduced

The security detail assigned to MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has been reduced to 2.

When he was holding the Cabinet Ministerial post, he had a security contingent of 6.

In August 2017, President Maithripala Sirisena removed Wijeyadasa from his Cabinet Ministerial post on a request by the United National Party.

He was the Cabinet Minister for Buddha Sasana and Justice.

Later MP Wijeyadasa also resigned from the Constitutional Council.
